buses, municipal fleet vehicles and private delivery trucks. Natural gas is a
clean, domestic resource that helps reduce reliance on foreign oil, offers
proven reliability, low operating costs, and clean emissions compared to
gasoline and diesel powered vehicles. Since 1999, Bell Power Systems has
specialized in providing natural gas engine repowers for bus and truck
applications. Bell Power Systems has installed over 100 natural gas engines
in transit buses, beverage delivery, refuse and utility trucks in fleets from New
York to California.
Natural gas engines provide the benefits of EPA certified
low emissions, 90 percent noise reduction, and the use of
a domestically produced alternative fuel. Our customers

for every natural gas engine it installs. Bell Power
Systems can provide fleet operators assistance in
securing grant funding for their natural gas vehicle
repower project. Bell Power Systems has assisted its
customers secure funding from the New York City
DOT/NYSERDA Private Fleet Program, the US Department
of Energy/Clean Cities State Energy Program, Greater
Long Island Clean Cities CMAQ Program, the Connecticut
DOT AFV CMAQ Program, and the US Environmental
Protection Agency Voluntary Diesel Retrofit Program.
