Diesel Retrofit Technologies
Bell Power Systems has responded to the growing demand for aftertreatment
technologies for on-road and off-road applications by offering the complete line
of
Johnson Matthey diesel retrofit technologies.  Bell Power Systems' engine
experts are able to recommend a diesel retrofit technology that meet a fleet's
operational needs and emission reduction objectives.  Bell Power Systems will
also assist fleet operators in applying for funds from government programs for
the equipment that they need.
PM Reduction
Johnson Matthey Particulate Filter Systems include the CRT®-Continuously Regenerating Technology and the
CCRT®-Catalyzed-Continuously Regenerating Technology.  These systems target the reduction of Particulate Matter (PM),
Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydrocarbons (HC) from the tailpipe.
These technologies can be installed in on and off-highway applications.
NOx Reduction
Johnson Matthey NOx Reducing Technologies include the EGRT®-Exhaust Gas Recirculation Technology and the
SCRT®-Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology.   This system targets the reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from the
tailpipe.  These technologies can be installed in on and off-highway applications.
Data Logging
Bell Power Systems will perform an exhaust system profile for any application (school bus, transit bus, refuse truck,
construction or agricultural equipment) to ensure the right JM technology is used.  Data logging provides important
exhaust temperature information as well as identifying the typical engine duty cycle.

The CRT Diagnostic Module was developed by JM to measure back pressure & temperature.  The module is used to
monitor and log data of diesel exhaust systems.  Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF’s) require up front exhaust system
analysis to apply the proper technology.  There is enough memory in the module to store up to 24 months of data.
